The Beast Behind the Mission
About Me
Dennis – Founder | Former Army Drill Sergeant | Combat Veteran
I spent over 15 years in the U.S. Army—first as Infantry, then as a Drill Sergeant, and always as a leader. I’ve seen war up close, led soldiers through fire, and trained hundreds to become warriors in their own right.
After combat deployments, loss, and the struggle of transitioning back into civilian life, I lost myself for a while—physically, mentally, spiritually. But I didn’t stay there. I fought my way back.
Savage Beast Fitness Co. was born from that fight—the battle to reclaim purpose, power, and pride. This brand is for those who’ve been through it. Who are still going through it. And who are ready to uncage the beast inside.

Training warriors was more than a job—it was a calling.

42 months in war zones. You don’t come back the same.
Combat changes you. But it also reveals the core of who you are. I took that fire and used it to forge something new.
What I Believe
I believe in structure. Discipline. Purpose.
But I also believe in grace—in rebuilding, in becoming more than what broke you.
Fitness isn’t just physical. It’s how you take back your mind, your edge, and your life.
I don’t care if you’re a vet, a civilian, male or female—if you’re ready to fight for your future, this is the brand for you.
Why I Built Savage Beast Fitness Co.
To help other men and women—especially veterans—reclaim their edge. Through fitness, through fire, through mindset. You’re not alone. And you’re not done.
This isn’t just a fitness company.
It’s a f**king movement.
If you’re ready to stop surviving and start dominating—physically, mentally, and spiritually—then welcome to the tribe.

Where I was
Leading men through hell with nothing but grit, guts, and purpose.
This was the proving ground.
Where I became more than a soldier—
I became a leader. An example. A savage with discipline.
I thrived in these situations.
Before the brand, before the business…
This is where the beast was wild.
I thought PTSD and depression were for the weak…
Until it was me!

Rock bottom where I fell
From warfighter to worn out.
From leading men… to hiding from mirrors.
Numbing pain with bottles.
Stuffing emotions with food.
Drowning discipline in comfort.
I wasn’t just out of shape—I was out of purpose.
But I looked in the mirror and made a choice.
To stop surviving... and start fighting again.
This was the lowest point.
But it’s also the moment the beast woke back up.

Rebirth
No handouts.
Just pain, discipline, and a savage will to rise.
I remembered who the f*** I am.
Every rep, every step, every sacrifice—
Was payback for the man I let myself become.
This isn’t a comeback.
This is a rebirth.
The beast was never gone…
He was just caged.
Now?
The beast is uncaged.
The Man Behind the Mission
I spent over 15 years in the U.S. Army—an Infantryman through and through. 42 months deployed in combat zones. I’ve held every role from rifleman to Platoon Sergeant. I was a Drill Sergeant and later a Drill Sergeant Leader, forging Soldiers into warriors who could lead others. I’ve led from the front in firefights, walked away from IED blasts, and carried the weight of brothers I’ll never see again.
But nothing prepared me for what came after.
When I got out, I lost myself. The mission was gone. The structure, the purpose, the identity—it all vanished. I spiraled. Anxiety took over. Depression rooted deep. There were days I couldn’t even leave my room. I drank a half gallon a day just to numb the silence. I ballooned up to 300 pounds. 35% body fat. I was a ghost in my own home—barely a man, definitely not a father, and nothing like the leader I once was.
But I remembered something: The Beast was still in there.
One day, I got sick of my own bullshit. I stopped feeling sorry for myself. I pulled my head out of the fog and decided to go to war again—this time with my mind, my body, and my excuses.
In less than a year, I dropped nearly 90 pounds. I clawed my way from 300 lbs at 35% body fat to 212 lbs at 9%. Not through some shortcut. Not through luck. Through discipline, structure, and the iron mindset I once lived by. I stopped hiding and became the example my kids needed to see. I became the man I was always meant to be—again.
Fitness saved my life.
This brand—Savage Beast Fitness Co.—was built to do the same for others. For anyone who’s lost themselves, for the vets trying to adjust, for the men struggling in silence, for the women battling demons behind closed doors—you are not done.
You don’t need motivation.
You need mission.
You don’t need a handout.
You need to uncage the beast.
